CSS for Print Designers was well-written and logical, and I think it'll prove to be a pretty great resource for when I need reminders on how to do some of the basics.
I definitely had my highlighter out so I could grab all of those little paragraphs that clearly defined things I knew but couldn't ever put into words. Also, the [...] and [...] are fantastic; before I was literally opening Dreamweaver (don't judge me) and starting new HTML files to copy/paste into TextWrangler. Those sites are way more effective than that.
If you are just starting to delve into the world of web design, this book is a must-read. At the very least it will greatly improve your understanding of the process of creating a website that is not only well designed, but well executed.

(Yes, I got the sly references from "Parks and Recreation".) Whether you're a designer just learning to code or looking for ways to communicate better with the coders programming your projects, "CSS for Print Designers" is a great place to start. You'll get a thorough understanding of CSS, what it is and how it is used to create Web standards-based sites that work as good as they look. Well worth the small investment of money and time.
