If you're planning an adventure in the Moonsea area, this is THE book to have! Nothing details these cities and lands better. It's supposed to come with a map, so If you're looking to buy this, make sure you get the map.
If you're looking for more Moonsea, I'd recomend (in this order)...
The Ruins of Zhentil Keep (for more detailed info on that city and its people)
Mysteries of the Moonsea (a nice collection of adventures set here)
Ruins of Adventure (more adventures set here)
Nearby areas you should seriously consider adventuring in are...
The Dalelands & Volo's Guide to the Dales
The Ruins of Myth Drannor & Cormanthyr empire of elves
Cormyr & Volo's Guide to Cormyr
Those books along with the 1993 or 1996 Forgotten Realms campaign setting is enough for a lifetime of adventure.

Moonsea has to be one of the BEST Forgotten Realms accessories ever made together with Old Empires and Red Magic! It sheds light on the northern city-states of the Moonsea region: Zhentil Keep, Hillsfar, Mulmaster, and many more; lands with plenty of intrigue, distinct culture, history, and civilization that will win you over for sure!
I have had endless hours of gaming enjoyment playing on material presented within the pages of the Moonsea accessory!
Ranging from background history, to city and social descriptions, to important people and characters, to the respective gods and temples, to adventure hooks, this accessory has it all.
For other FR references/adventures, I STRONGLY recommend: the Old Empires accessory on Chessenta, Mulhorand, and Unther, the Red Magic accessory on Thay, the Ruins of Myth Drannor Box Set, and the Ruins of Zhentil Keep Box Set (they are Second Edition AD&D, out of print and it will take a bit of searching, but it's well worth it). For an updated edition of events in the Moonsea region see the Third Edition Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, which even though is quite expensive, it is still very useful to all FR fans!
In short, if you loved Curse of the Azure Bonds and the travels across the Moonsea, try and get your hands on a copy of the Moonsea accessory. You will not regret it! Trust me on this one...
