I purchased this because I really liked Scott Citron's book Professional Design Techniques with Adobe Creative Suite 3. Professional Design Techniques was excellent -- opinionated, direct and addressing actual problems. So far, this How-To's book is none of that, more liked the typical Sam's guide full of obvious instructions and sounding often like an Adobe Corporation press release. Advice to the authors, don't collaborate again. I'm not sure what Mr Murphy was supposed to bring, but Scott's voice is gone and the result is mediocre.

Real tips that emphasize what new features a professional would really use. I especially liked Section #13. Content-Aware Fill, Section #21. What's So Smart About Smart Objects?, Section #35. Creating Crisp Artwork for the Web, Section #41. Using the Gap Tool, Section #42. Using the Gridified Tools and Super Step-and-Repeat. Color images would have been preferred, but the book shines in its simple but clear explanations and choice of tips.
